Emerald Indian Wedding Inspiration

Emerald green was recently named Pantone’s 2013 colour of the year.  This is pretty exciting because emerald, like all jewel tones, looks beautiful against South Asian skin. There are many ways to incorporate it into an Indian or Pakistani wedding.

For an emerald pre-wedding event like a mehndi, sangeet or gaye holud, use playful ideas and contrast the green with gold.

For an elegant wedding reception or valima, emerald looks beautiful when offset with royal blue and white or soft pink.

I found so many awesome things that I had to make one more emerald board. Enjoy!
